FEAR! –DEALING WITH IT HAVE PERFECT LOVE AND FIGHT
THE GOOD BATTLE OF FAITH-
You May Need To Couple Your Fight With Fasting And Prayer !
[1] Jesus has the keys of hell and death
Fear of hell and death is a real fear in the lives of many. But we Christians need not fear because Jesus Christ already has the keys of hell and death (Revelation 1:18). Anyone who is in Christ Jesus need not fear. The scriptures say that Jesus Christ has given us the spirit of power, might and a sound mind (2Tim1:7).
[2] Fear has torment BUT perfect love casts out fear
1John 4: 18- captures this whole truth. We are in a love relationship with God. We must believe that Jesus Christ loves uas so much that he will never allow any evil to happen to us and He will take care of us ( Luke 12:4-7; Matt.10:28-31; Luke 12:22-32; Psalm 23:4). Anyone terrifying children of God with death or lack is wasting his time.
[3] We’re to have strong faith in the Word of the Lord Jesus and fight the good fight of faith
We should study the word of God so that in time of need the Holy Spirit will minister the appropriate word into our hearts which we can use effectively to fight the words of the devil. Jesus Christ Himself fought the devil with the word (Matt.4:1-11; John 8:32; 2Cor.10:5; 1Tim.6:12; Ps.144:1).
[4] Some situations have to be coupled with fasting and prayer
Some situations have to be coupled with fasting and prayer because Jesus Christ Himself said that some situations don’t move except by fasting and prayer (Matt.17: 21; Mk. 9:29). As Christians we should know when to couple our fight of faith with fasting and prayer. When the enemy wants to trouble you and you are seeing fearful, disturbing scenes in your dreams, or you 1 need certain unwanted situations to move; you need to take the battle back to the gates of the enemy. Don’t let the enemy hem you in your own gates or bring the battle into your house- deal with him fast. Begin to pray warfare prayers (Ps. 144:1) and deal with the enemy ruthlessly because the devil has no mercy! We’re to use the blood of Jesus Christ as well and the word of our testimony (Rev.12:11).
[5] Rest in the Holy Spirit because He is has won our Peace
We’re to put our trust in the Lord to be like mount zion that can never be moved (Ps. 125:1). Isaiah 28:11 says we should have our rest in the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ Isaiah 53:5 says the chastisement of our peace was upon Jesus Christ. He has won our full peace (Ps. 1:3).
